U-Turn 4 Life Inc. will produce high quality multi-media presentations
showcasing the talents of inner-city teenagers and spreading the message of
education, non-violence, and hope. Our young people will: 1) produce,
direct, and star in
U-Turn Video & TV productions, 2) produce,
choreograph, and dance with U-Tur n
to Motion (Hip Hop, Double Dutch & more), 3) produce, write, and perform with U-Turn
to Music (Rap, Hip Hop, & more), 4) produce, write, and act with
the U-Turn Players (Theater, skits, videos & more), and 5) produce,
design, write, and create, with U-Turn to the Arts (Poetry, drawing,,
graphics & more). These powerful creative venues will allow them to use
Video, Music, Dance, and the
Performing and Fine Arts to
express themselves peacefully and creatively
while keeping them off the
streets and away from negative influences and activities.
All these groups will work collectively to outreach to
other high-risk teenagers in danger of dropping out of
school and
turning to gangs, drugs, or prostitution. Videos, DVD's and CD's
will be produced and marketed showcasing the talents of our young people as
they reach out to help reduce the violence
destroying their friends and their communities.
