BLOODs
Loosely descended
from the Los Angeles street gang, the Bloods in the Northeast exist under
several names, including United Blood Nation and Gangster Killer Bloods. For the
most part, the gang's membership is African-American. Other than the similarity
in name, federal authorities say there is little evidence that the East Coast
Bloods and West Coast Bloods are affiliated.

BRIGHTON BOYZ
Street gang. Members in MA DOC are Vietnamese males from Waltham, Revere,
and Somerville.
CRIPS
Loosely descended
from an infamous L.A. street gang, the Crips are a multiethnic gang that, in the
Northeast, sells cocaine, heroin and marijuana that it acquires from New York
City-based Dominican criminal groups. Federal authorities say there is no
information to indicate whether the Northeast Crips are connected with the Los
Angeles Crips.

EASY BOYS GANG
Street gang from Longbeach , CA, Members in MA DOC are Southeast Asian male
inmates.
LaFAMILIA
Considered to be one of the top three security threat groups in
Massachusetts prisons. Originated in the Springfield, Massachusetts and New York
areas. LaFamilia use the logos "Amor De Familia" which means love of the family,
"ADLF" and "ALFN" and "unity". LaFamilia's hand sign is thumb, index finger and
middle finger up with the ring and little finger closed to fist.
- Colors: Primarily red and white but some factions use the colors red,
white and blue.
LATIN GANGSTA DISCIPLES
Many members drawn from Lawrence Ma., street gang LICENSED TO STEAL.
- Colors: Were Red & Black, now Blue & Black
- Symbols: 3 pronged pitchfork with tops up, use LGD, GD, FOLK , 6 pointed
star skeleton smoking gun / death before dishonor.
